All Water users are strongly encouraged to use this channel calling TORBAYNCI requesting a radio check, thereby relieving Solent or Falmouth Coastguards.  The NCI stations are not permitted  to accept Passage plans and these must be transmitted directly to the relevant coastguard.

 

Local conditions as recorded by the station may be transmitted if so requested  on Channel 65 . For a trial period the Coastal weather forecasts may be requested if mariners are unable to obtain by other means.

If you are Canoeists, Divers, Cliff climbers,Single-handed sailors,Fishermen,Coastal walker, Windsurfers and anyone else who participates in a waterborne activity please advise the tower in order that provided you remain in sight – a watch may be maintained during duty hours.
